Description
The Diversity and Inclusion Lead creates and implements outcomes-based cultural competency strategy that is aligned with leader standards and organizational development and develops strategy to incorporate data-driven analysis of culturally competent performance of leaders and associates across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
Promotes an environment of cultural competence through identification and implementation of culturally-inclusive practices and innovations in line with diversity and inclusion strategies.
Creates and implements outcomes-based cultural competency strategy that is aligned with leader standards and organizational development.
Develops strategy to incorporate data-driven analysis of culturally competent performance
In conjunction with ongoing associate experience planning, defines plans for the continual provision, monitoring and improvement of culturally competent performance to impact outcomes
Serves as the internal subject matter expert on national and regional trends and developments regarding culturally competent services and as a liaison to internal and external partners.
Facilitates leader and team brainstorming sessions, planning engagements and internal training.
Analyzes learning needs and partners with subject matter experts to provide input for course content. Writes effective learning objectives and coordinates performance assessments to measure training effectiveness.
Plans, organizes, and develops training curriculum, materials, job aids and programs to meet cultural competence training needs.
Uses consultative skills to collaborate with partners to identify gaps related to cultural competency
Commit projects and conduct needs analysis with clients to identify and develop relevant solutions
Provides expert guidance around study design, research methodology, analyses and interpretation of cultural competence survey results.
Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters relating to cultural competent leadership and program effectiveness.
Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision
Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5 or more years of demonstrated experience in Inclusion and Diversity
2 or more years of experience developing and integrating Inclusion and Diversity focused programs
Passion for improving inclusion and diversity across the enterprise
Demonstrated ability to connect the dots end-to-end and focus on simplifying processes and experiences
Strong presentation, facilitation and written/verbal communication skills
Problem solving skills and ability to proactively identify and mitigate issues
Ability to interface with multiple levels of the organization and to serve as an influence leader and a team player
Proven ability to break down silos, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and leverage resources and opportunities across the enterprise
Proven ability to work with highly confidential information
Strong skills using Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
As a WAH associate, you will be required to work from your own home and no other location. In order to qualify, you must have a room in your home designated as a home office; away from high traffic areas where confidential information may be secured. You must provide your own high speed DSL or a cable modem. Satellite and/or wireless internet connections are NOT permitted. A minimum internet speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) internet speed is required.

Master's Degree
Experience with crowd sourcing and/or survey tools
