Description
The Diversity and Inclusion Lead develops, implements, and evaluates diversity/equal employment opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action programs to ensure compliance with government legislation and organization goals. The Diversity and Inclusion Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Responsibilities
The Diversity and Inclusion NRG Lead
advances Humana's I&D strategy by managing the development and support of our Network Resource Groups. The Diversity and Inclusion NRG Lead works on problems of scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. This individual may also support other areas of directional focus, as needed, to further evolve Humana's ongoing commitment to I&D.
Responsibilities Include:
Develop a holistic forward-looking strategy to continuously evolve Humana's Network Resource groups, in alignment with business strategy and associate experience objectives.
In collaboration with NRG Leadership teams, create DEI experiences to educate and engage NRG Membership and Humana associates
Collaborate with business stakeholders to create cross-NRG iniativies in line with business objectives
Communicate budget guidelines and assist NRG Leaders with managing annual budget allocation
Partner with broad HR team to ensure the I&D/NRG lens is appropriately represented in all touchpoints of the associate journey, including:
Acquisition
Communications
Associate Growth and Development
Collaborate with NRG Leaders, Executive Sponsors and the Executive I&D Council members to gain alignment on NRG strategy and goals.
Recruit and onboard new executive sponsors and co-presidents
Develop and manage NRG/I&D summits; components include:
Associate Develop topics - i.e. business acumen
NRG strategy
Consumer Centricity
Senior Leadership exposure opportunities
Data analysis and metrics
Set success measures and key performance indicators
Produce population snapshots and connect NRG participation to wellbeing, engagement, and business outcomes
Maintain channels for information sharing, such as SharePoint, Teams, leadership call (NRGs in the Know), etc.
Attend NRG leadership team meetings
Coach and provide guidance to NRG co-presidents as needed
Ongoing communications and update with executive sponsors
Work with HR business partners to update polices and resolve issues
Develop NRG role profiles as needed, and maintain current profile, and
Represent the Office of I&D in external events and internal forums, including panel discussions, Town Halls, leader training sessions, I&D days, and presentation requests made by key partners.
Required Qualifications
6 or more years of demonstrated experience in Inclusion and Diversity
2 or more years of experience developing and integrating inclusion and diversity focused programs
Passion for improving inclusion and diversity across the enterprise
Demonstrated ability to connect the dots end-to-end and focus on simplifying processes and experiences
Strong presentation, facilitation and written/verbal communication skills
Problem solving skills and ability to proactively identify and mitigate issues
Demonstrated ability to interface with multiple levels of the organization and to serve as an influence leader and a team player
Proven ability to break down silos, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and leverage resources and opportunities across the enterprise
Proven ability to work with highly confidential information
Demonstrated skills using Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Experience with NRG membership; NRG leadership roles or management responsibility is preferred
Experience with crowd sourcing and/or survey tools

This role requires associates be fully COVID vaccinated (preferred) or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. Weekly testing will need to be completed through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.
